Scorpion season 4 episode 10 preview: Walter worries about Cabe’s future

Scorpion season 4 episode 10 is coming onto ABC next week and judging from some of the first information we’ve got, it’s looking like it’s a big one. “Crime Every Mountain” is the title, and this installment could be the one that finally unveils one way or another if Cabe ends up going to prison. This is the installment where Robert Patrick’s character gets closer than ever to his trial, and we’re certainly left to sit around and wonder as to whether or not he will emerge from the other side of it still with the team.

The problem that Cabe — and by association his lawyer Sylvester — will run into is that nothing on this show is ever anywhere near as simple as it should be. The Scorpion season 4 episode 10 synopsis gives you a good sense of that as we get a chance to learn a little more news about the case of the week:

“Crime Every Mountain” – As Cabe’s trial looms over Team Scorpion, a simple case goes sideways when they help a father and his daughter whose plane crashes nearby. Also, Paige helps Walter navigate his feelings about Cabe’s possible future in prison, on SCORPION, Monday, Nov. 27 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Seeing Walter’s struggle to us is every bit as interesting as anything else in this episode, largely because this is one of the character’s biggest tests to date in trying to open up. We’ve seen him work tirelessly at this over time but he’s still got a ways to go — this is an especially traumatic event given that he views Cabe as a father figure. The idea of losing him is not going to be an altogether easy thing for him to handle. That’s why you have to hope that he makes it through okay — otherwise, it’s going to be hard for Scorpion to be the same team that it once was with Cabe sitting behind bars.

Hopefully, in the midst of all the sorrow we’re also still going to get a chance to see plenty vintage Team Scorpion fun.
