The Blacklist season 5 episode 8 preview: Will Tom live or die?
Will Tom live or die through this confrontation? You may get a chance to learn his fate in this episode — the only other option is that the show leaves you in the midst of a massive cliffhanger and you’re left waiting until January 3 (when the show returns to the air) for some sort of resolution there.
The Blacklist season 5 episode 8 synopsis CarterMatt has for you below offers up a little more insight on what’s coming up:
11/15/2017 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Wednesday) : FALL FINALE. When Tom (Ryan Eggold) goes missing, Liz (Megan Boone) desperately retraces his steps in order to find him. Meanwhile Red’s (James Spader) hunt for the suitcase of bones puts him on a collision course with Tom that will change everyone’s lives forever.
Hopefully, The Blacklist (one way or another) gives you some sort of exciting episode that has enough twists and turns so if Tom dies, it’s exciting no matter what you feel about the character. The same goes for if he survives. We just want to be surprised and see the stage set for something epic on the other side.
What we do wonder more than anything is this: If Reddington does choose to kill Tom, how in the world does he talk his way out of this? How is Liz ever going to trust him again? Reddington may be a good talker, but he can’t possibly talk his way out of killing her husband and leaving her child fatherless.

I have mixed feelings regarding Tom’s survival. But, I would rather see him live then die. I don’t want to see a division come between Red and Liz. That would destroy her. I love the Blacklist show. I want so much to see Red and Liz relationship as father and daughter to grow. I believe Red has a good side that only Liz can bring out. I do believe she is his way back home.
