Legends of Tomorrow season 3 episode 6 preview: NCIS: Los Angeles star to appear

There is a great deal to like about Legends of Tomorrow season 3 episode 6, and a lot of it starts off with the time period and the story. This episode is entitled “Helen Hunt,” and if that wasn’t exciting enough for you the presence of NCIS: Los Angeles actress Bar Paly as Helen of Troy really should be. Signs point to this being a very fun, very different sort of story for the show since you’re going to be in the past (1930’s Los Angeles) dealing with a famous figure from even further in the past.

Unfortunately for the Legends, another surprise is going to enter the mix and cause some most-unfortunate chaos. The Legends of Tomorrow season 3 episode 6 synopsis CarterMatt has for you below offers up a little more insight on that:

A DIFFERENT KIND OF WAR – When the Legends track down an anachronism in 1930s Hollywood, they discover it’s none other than a time-displaced Helen of Troy and she’s just started a war between two film studios. As the Legends try to fix history and return Helen (guest star Bar Paly) to the Bronze Age, things get complicated when they are blindsided by the appearance of a former enemy. Sara (Caity Lotz) contemplates an offer she is made, which would make the Legends leave the anachronisms be. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) and Jax (Franz Drameh) find themselves in an unusual predicament. Dominic Purcell, Brandon Routh, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Tala Ashe also star. David Geddes directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Ubah Mohamed (#306). Original airdate 11/14/2017.

So who could this familiar face end up being? A safe bet, (based on some of the news that is already out there at the moment) is Damien Darhk. It’s already been confirmed that Neal McDonough is a series regular for this season, just as it’s also been confirmed that the Big Bad (Mallus) has every intention in the world of bringing him back.

Ultimately, be prepared for a fun episode, but also one that will probably have some huge ramifications for the rest of the season.
