Bachelor Winter Games: Luke Pell reportedly joining Peter Kraus
In a post on Twitter (which you can see below), show creator Mike Fleiss confirms that Luke Pell of JoJo Fletcher’s season is going to join Peter Kraus as one of the people taking part. Interestingly, both Luke and Peter have a little bit in common. Both were at one point considered to be favorites to be the Bachelor only to see the show go in a different direction. We could regurgitate many of the reasons why here but that would probably serve as a source of more pain for some of the fans of both of these guys.
Will there be a romance component to this spin-off show, which is slated to air presumably opposite the actual Winter Games on NBC? It’s possible, but that doesn’t seem to be the sole focus. We’ve heard talk of there being international versions of the franchise competing against each other just as we’ve also heard that many popular franchise faces will be involved. This should just be a fun, random addition to the franchise — it could prove to be terrible, but it doesn’t seem as though there is any obvious reason for anyone to turn it down. It doesn’t look like Bachelor in Paradise where one of the primary objectives is to occasionally see couples find love, but more often watch them routinely be found in super-cheesy, super-embarrassing situations.
Since doing The Bachelorette we’ve seen Luke Pell work to become a fixture on the country music scene, touring around many different states promoting some of his music. There wasn’t a whole lot of talk about him appearing on Bachelor in Paradise this summer or becoming the new Bachelor, so we almost thought that he had fallen off the map entirely with this franchise before this news came out via Fleiss this week.
