Arrow 6×07, Legends of Tomorrow 3×07 featuring Katie Cassidy, Gorilla Grodd

Gorilla Grodd

Whether you love Arrow or Legends of Tomorrow, there are some very big things coming up on both shows. To be a little more specific, we’re discussing Legends of Tomorrow 3×07 and Arrow 6×07, episodes that each have the potential to be all sorts of amazing.

For more scoop on this, take a look at the attached synopses that CarterMatt has for you below.

Legends of Tomorrow 3×07, “Welcome to the Jungle” – “With Sara (Caity Lotz) out of commission, the team finds a new Anachronism that leads them to the jungles of Vietnam and right in the middle of the war. Ray (Brandon Routh), Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Zari (Tala Ashe) pose as journalists and trek through the jungle when they are lead to time-displaced Gorilla Grodd. Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Zano) and Rory (Dominic Purcell) run into someone Rory knows which give a glimpse into his past. Victor Garber and Franz Drameh also star. Mairzee Almas directed the episode written by Ray Utarnachitt & Tyron B. Carter.”

What’s not to like here? You’ve got Gorilla Grodd coming back to the CW – DC Comics Universe for the first time in a little while, and they are shaking things up by having him appear on a different show. One of the interesting questions that goes along with this is just what sort of version of Grodd we’re going to end up seeing on the show here. Is he as powerful as when he was on The Flash, or is this at some point after that when his powers are more advanced? If it is the latter of the two options, the Legends better be pretty afraid of what’s going to happen to them.

Arrow 6×07, “Thanksgiving” – “Oliver (Stephen Amell) celebrates Thanksgiving with his family but the happy moment is interrupted. Meanwhile, Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) returns to wreak havoc on the holiday. Gord Verheul directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Speed Weed.”

Given that we just came off an episode featuring the Black Siren character, we wondered when we were going to see her again. It makes sense that it happens at this point, since by the time that this episode airs, it will have been a while since we’ve seen her. Also, three cheers for a Thanksgiving episode! Given that this is a season themed more around family there’s a lot of room for some cool stuff to happen here.
