Arrow season 6 episode 4 preview: Katie Cassidy’s Black Siren back
Below, the Arrow season 6 episode 4 synopsis offers up a little more in the way of insight as to what is coming up next.
BLACK SIREN STRIKES AGAIN – Just as Oliver (Stephen Amell) starts to get things in order, Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) launches another attack on the citizens of Star City. Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Sarah Tarkoff & Emilio Ortega Aldrich (#604). Original airdate 11/2/2017.
Why so little information about this episode in advance? Well, a whole lot of that is tied to something that we’ve stated in these Arrow previews at CarterMatt already: The CW wasn’t being altogether forthcoming when it comes to sharing details about their installments before the premiere two weeks ago. This synopsis was released at around that time, so clearly they didn’t want anyone to know whether or not the likes of Felicity or Diggle would be making it to the other side.
Of course, getting the Green Arrow versus Black Siren is enough to be excited about … even if this is a different sort of Green Arrow than what we’re used to with this show. That’s a part of what makes it interesting! Arrow continues to evolve, whether it be with some of its characters or the way that it tells its story. The bummer is that it’s a little challenging to say much more about this installment other than what we’ve already spelled out here. We just hope that the show comes up with some more great ways to use Black Siren — while also understanding more of her motives. Is this really just all about her attempts to get to Quentin Lance, or is there something a little more elaborate going on here? Hopefully time will tell over the course of the hour.
