NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 episode 5 preview: Arkady is back
Meanwhile, the NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 episode 5 synopsis below offers up a little more information regarding some of what is coming up next.
“Mountebank” – Sam goes undercover as a day trader after a prominent investment banker with ties to a Russian oligarch is murdered. Also, one of Callen’s aliases is the victim of credit card theft, and Mosley is concerned it signals something bigger, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, Oct. 29 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
While we don’t necessarily like to be the sort who trades in conspiracy theories, at the same time there’s probably a reason for Mosley’s paranoia since we’ve gotten some hints of his thematically throughout the season already. Here’s one of our random thoughts that also comes with reading this: Isn’t Sam lucky at this point that his undercover personas haven’t accidentally stumbled across the same group of people on more than one occasion? He’s done so many of these undercover missions at this point in his career that it wouldn’t be the most stunning news ever if they were to accidentally cross paths at some point. We could absolutely understand why it would happen.
Beyond all of this, we wish that this synopsis gave us a little something more when it comes to what Kensi/Deeks are up to in this episode or whether or not we’re going to get some more news regarding the Hetty storyline — fingers crossed that there will be opportunities to learn a little bit more about that by the end of at least the first part of this season.
