Once Upon a Time season 7 episode 4 preview: Emilie de Ravin returns
However, what is a little bit more interesting about this episode for Emilie and the Belle character is that this should be a chance to see her in the midst of what is a crazy, complicated story featuring one of the show’s new characters in Alice. She has her own history of sorts with Rumpelstiltskin, and may have had a role in taking him away from Belle back in Storybrooke. For those of you looking to connect the dots with this character, you should very much enjoy what the writers have in store for next week. There will be some more twists, but hopefully also a sense that someday Rumple can have something akin to a happy ending.
Does Rumple really deserve one given the wide array of horrible things that he’s done over time? We do understand the sentiment of those out there who don’t think so that this point, mostly given just how deep his list of terrible things really is. Yet, at the same time we’re not altogether shocked that we find ourselves occasionally in the position of Belle, constantly thinking that this is a man capable of turning things around even though he very rarely seems to be able to do just that.
Beyond just Belle this should be an entertaining and even a fun story at times, with there being one clear reason that we’re getting for that: This installment should focus Halloween rather prominently! For those of you who do love the holiday you’ll love this, even though Once Upon a Time somehow is like Halloween every week with all of the different costumes.

I actually hope they kill her off. Can’t stand Belle. Belle was my favorite fairy tale character until OUAT came along and made her a doormat with the emotional maturity of a 12-year-old girl with a crush on the neighborhood bad boy. And I’m not buying this “great romance” line, esp. since he cheated on her when she was pregnant and was pretty abusive last season. It’s like OUAT is encouraging truly destructive, dysfunctional relationships through this whole Rumbelle thing and I guess having a baby is the answer to every bad relationship. SMH, kill Belle off finally. PLEASE.
