Is Grey’s Anatomy new tonight? The wait for season 14 episode 5
However, for everyone else it appears as though you’re going to be waiting a rather long time to get the show back. There is no new episode of the show coming on Thursday night, with the biggest reason for that being ABC deciding to embrace Halloween tonight by airing some oh-so-familiar specials, including the legendary It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown that they could play and get great ratings for from now until the zombie apocalypse arrives.
Anyhow, while you wait for more Grey’s Anatomy to come on the air we at CarterMatt want to give you a few different and hopefully-exciting things to ponder over.
1. A chance to preview the next new episode – This installment airing on October 25 carries with it the title of “Danger Zone,” and this will be the biggest flashback storyline in quite a while. In here, you will finally get a sense as to where everyone was at emotionally, and how they were feeling, leading up to the capture of Megan Hunt in the Middle East. There will be parts of the episode in the present, and it should prove to be a fairly nice juxtaposition of past meets present.
2. Some more relationship discussion – Have you viewed some of our recent ‘Shiptober pieces? These are designed with the sole purpose in mind of giving you a little bit more news regarding some of the biggest TV relationships out there and whether or not they could actually happen. If you head over to the link here you can read about one of the latest ones, and it centers very much around the Meredith – Nathan relationship.
3. Other news to note – There will be a departure of Abigail Spencer from the series at some point in the reasonably near future. She will be heading back to Vancouver in order to film the second season of Timeless, and as a result of that there is only so long that we are going to have around as Megan. Consider this as we see the story inch more and more along.
There are many more Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episodes coming up, and the hiatus tonight does not hold any bearing on the overall episode count. With that in mind, don’t draw any judgment on us not getting a chance to see some additional stories based on that.
