Empire season 4 episode 4 spoilers: The Alpha album battle

When Empire season 4 episode 4 airs on Fox, things are going to be very intense from the music side of things. We’ve seen time and time again on this show that everyone is down for getting a big piece of the Empire Entertainment pie, and that includes having the big single or the most publicity and attention surrounding your track or your song.

When Empire basically encourages competition and battling between the various artists, that could end up boiling over what is already an already-volatile situation from the jump. This upcoming story carries with it the title of “Bleeding

Empire season 4 episode 4  synopsis – “The race is on when Cookie announces that the number one album for Empire’s 20-For-20 will be a competition between all of the label’s top artists, giving Jamal a bold idea for his newest song. On the heels of Bella’s first birthday, the family plans a special “Prince and Princesses”-themed birthday party, including a special Prince tribute, but the special day brings back haunting memories for one of the Lyons. Meanwhile, Lucious is at a crossroads, as he tries to put to rest the anger from his past life in the all-new “Bleeding War” episode of EMPIRE airing Wednesday, Oct. 18 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.”

The music story is certainly exciting, but beyond that there are two different stories that are each catching our eye for very specific reasons.

1. The birthday party – If Empire somehow turns into an episode of The Real Housewives, there is a good chance that by the end of the episode you’re going to end up seeing everyone at everyone else’s throat. The only thing that we can advise you on there is to go ahead and be prepared for that on some level.

2. Lucious releasing anger – This is something that we’ve really wanted to believe; even before the story of Lucious’ amnesia this season we’ve really wanted to foresee Lucious find a way to get through some of the demons that have longed plagued him and realize that there is a different way to live, a way that does not make him into a reflection of his fairly violent past. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that we are ever going to see that happen either now or down the road.
