Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers episode 3 video: ‘My lips don’t go near other people’s very often’

Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers episode 3 video

There is some gold to be found in the new Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers episode 3 video, starting with the fantastic Jessica quote that is in the title. She’s having some feelings for Cole, who in turn is crushing hard on her. The two are on the Healers tribe, and we’re pretty sure there is a joke in here somewhere.

While this is far from the first Survivor romance/showmance/whatever it is, it’s not all that often you see one heat up this quickly into a game. It may be great for these two in the event it actually works out and they have a future together after the game. With that being said, within the game it puts a big target on their back. Remember how Alan freaked out earlier this season suggesting that J.P. and Ashley were this super-threatening power couple that needed to be destroyed? Well, in this case you actually have a power couple and it’s starting to feel clear already that these two are not going to turn on each other.

This is, for the record, one of the reasons Joe screwed up big time in letting Cole in on the secret of him having the Immunity Idol clue and, in turn, the idol itself. Joe should’ve seen how close Cole and Jessica were, even if he didn’t know about the romance, and know that there could be some trouble here.

One other thing that’s amazing/ridiculous about the way that Survivor is promoting this relationship? Look at the episode title for Wednesday night: “My Kisses Are Very Private.” Sure they are, minus the millions of people probably seeing them at home.

What else is going on?

Over at the Heroes tribe you’re going to see Alan start to struggle in some of these conditions. You have to remember that this is a guy probably used to having a pretty high-calorie diet as a pro athlete and he’s now forced to sustain on very little. We’ve seen many athletes struggle on the show over the years just because it’s such a difficult transition for them — sure, they are used to competing, but the circumstances of said competition are often very different.

Meanwhile, over on the Hustlers tribe Patrick is going to continue to drive everyone up the wall. While keeping him around probably does give the tribe a much better chance of winning a few more challenges, at the same time you’re also making your camp life so miserable that you may eventually consider throwing one just to get rid of him. If you think about it, Patrick may be able to realize at some point that there are people targeting him and he could flip after a swap.
