Arrow season 6, Legends of Tomorrow season 3 premiere details revealed
Granted, the folks over at Legends of Tomorrow are being a little bit more liberal with sharing details than some of the fine folks over at Arrow. The photo above is, of course, from the start of Legends of Tomorrow season 3.
Legends of Tomorrow, “Aruba-Con” – “When the Legends realize that they broke the timeline, Rip Hunter (guest star Arthur Darvill) arrives with his new organization – the Time Bureau – to relieve them of duty. The Legends are thrilled to get a chance to put the team back together but a new threat arises when Rory (Dominic Purcell) spots Julius Caesar (guest star Simon Merrells) in Aruba. Sara (Caity Lotz), Nate (Nick Zano) and Ray (Brandon Routh) devise a plan to steal the Waverider back from the Time Bureau in order to try and stop Julius Caesar from conquering the modern world. Victor Garber, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Franz Drameh also star. Rob Seidenglanz directed the episode written by Phil Klemmer & Marc Guggenheim (#301). Original airdate 10/10/2017.”
This sounds both wonderful and also delightfully absurd, basically what you want to get from this show the majority of the time. It’s worth noting that Darvill is now being billed as a guest star, a further sign that you won’t be seeing as much of Rip Hunter as you did in the past. He’s basically going to try and regulate time more after the Legends screwed with it, but do you think that they’re going to be all that cool with that happening?
Arrow, “Fallout” – “Oliver (Stephen Amell) deals with the fallout of the explosion on the island. James Bamford directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Wendy Mericle (#601). Original airdate 10/12/2017.”
Yep, that’s all the folks over at The CW are giving you for this one, which shouldn’t come as too big of a shock given everything that they’ve done in order to keep it a secret up to this point. They realize that there isn’t a whole lot of merit that comes in ruining the big cliffhanger at the end of this past season. For now, we do know that Black Canary and Black Siren make it off of the island alive, and the same goes for Oliver Queen. Maybe you can view the recent crossover poster as evidence that Wild Dog and others are also still out there, but we’re somewhat hesitant still on saying that for sure one way or another. Crazier things have happened with this show.
