Arrow season 6, Legends of Tomorrow season 3 episode counts revealed
According to a new report coming in from SpoilerTV, the episode count for each show shouldn’t be too much of a surprise when you take a look at the past couple of seasons.
For Arrow, the CW series is staying at 23 episodes once again. That is a ton of episodes to put together in a single year, but somehow the masterminds behind this show always finds a way to make this work despite the long hours and frenetic schedule. Stephen Amell is going to need the world’s longest nap at the end of all this with all the action that is packed into this show. We don’t imagine the episode count changing for Arrow all that much in the future unless someone decides to order a final season or if the ratings start to fall. As it is right now, the show is very much an anchor of the network’s schedule.
For Arrow season 6, the core of the struggle ahead is going to be trying to find a way to top the almost-in-toppable storyline of Adrian Chase, which remains one of the best arcs that we’ve seen on any superhero show (that’s right, we said “any” and we stand by it). Even though Adrian technically lost (in that he had to take his own life), we do still have a feeling that he would consider some of his acts a victory. He still forced Oliver to admit to being a killer, and he did everything that he could in order to make his life hell in a way that many other villains just couldn’t do.
Meanwhile, the Legends of Tomorrow season 3 episode count is one to get even more excited about, given that the third season of the show is running a grand total of 18 episodes. This is one episode more than we had for last season, even one episode more than we had the first season. While Legends of Tomorrow has always been the CW superhero show with the smallest episode order, it’s built a steady audience and we actually think that it’s set to become the most underrated show in the entire DC Comics universe next season. It may already be that for some fans now. While at times the story can be loopy and nonsensical, there are a few different things that it does bring it to the same level as the other superhero shows. It’s funny, it’s lighthearted, and it does play into being inspirational and fun while allowing its characters to enjoy themselves while doing what they do. These are things that you actually don’t see all that much elsewhere making this show a standalone.
