Supergirl season 3 video: Show boss on Reign arrival, Mon-El drama

Supergirl season 3 video

If you’ve had a hankering for a new Supergirl season 3 video, we believe you’re in the right place … especially if you’re ready for Reign.

This new video aired during the CW special presentation of Vixen tonight, and it’s a brief interview with Tiffany Smith and executive producer Andrew Kreisberg. If you’ve been paying attention, then you know that there are a few things in here that you already know, whether it be that Reign (Odette Annable, pictured in the thumbnail below) is going to be the Big Bad for the year or that Mon-El (Chris Wood) is not done with the show just yet.

One of the interesting things to us about Reign is that other than this thumbnail, we haven’t really seen a whole lot of this character in action. We still don’t know what the version of her is going to look like on the show or how she will interact with other characters. We do know via Kreisberg that their version is a Worldkiller, much like she is in the comics, from the planet Krypton. We also know that she’s going to have a “heartbreaking” backstory that may give you more of a sense as to why she is the person that she is and why she makes some of the decisions that she does.

The one thing that we know is that unchecked, she may be able to completely cause this earth to crumble without a whole lot of resistance in the process.

For everyone out there who loves Mon-El, we’re just going to go ahead and warn you that it doesn’t seem as though the character is coming back right away based on what we have here. Yet, we don’t foresee that he’ll be gone for that long, and there could be another Supergirl season 3 video coming up in the future that features him a little bit more than we have here. Rest assured that Wood is still seemingly a major part of the show and we don’t see his story with Kara ending just yet.

Here’s one of the larger questions that you really should wonder: When he does come back, just how different is he going to be from the version of the character that we’ve come to know to date? It could ultimately be night and day, so it’s probably best that you don’t jump to any sort of major conclusions that he will come back and everything will be suddenly peaceful.
