Midnight, Texas episode 6 spoilers: The hunt for a missing girl
For one, we’ve got a story in episode 6 of a missing girl, a murder investigation, a possible serial killer, and of course some supernatural circumstances that are indicative of this town and the show at this point. Manfred is probably never going to have a story on this show where there’s just one thing going down and he doesn’t have to worry about anything else.
Take a look at the synopsis below for a whole lot more insight.
Midnight, Texas episode 6 synopsis – “When a local girl goes missing, the Midnighters try to find her before law enforcement descends into town. Manfred (Francois Arnaud) and Creek (Sarah Ramos) discover Aubrey’s murder was not an isolated incident — someone or something is killing young women in Midnight. In the race to find the missing girl, Bobo (Dylan Bruce) resolves to get justice for Aubrey. Lem (Peter Mensah) and Olivia (Arielle Kebbel) join the hunt, not knowing if the killer is human or supernatural. Complicating matters, Fiji (Parisa Fitz-Henley) is haunted by a demonic entity and seeks answers from the Rev (Yul Vazquez) while Joe (Jason Lewis) struggles to maintain the secret that protects his family.”
How are the ratings?
For right now, we do think that NBC has to be fairly satisfied. Even though the August 14 episode generated a series-low 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic, we’re still talking about a scripted summer show averaging a 0.8. That’s better than the majority of the other shows out there in this vein, including anything that ABC or CBS has in that vein right now. More importantly, the show has kept most of its premiere following. That’s critical if the goal is to ensure that there are viewers who will watch the show next year.
