Doctor Who season 10 episode 11 spoilers: The Mondasian Cybermen

In looking ahead to Doctor Who season 10 episode 11, there is one thing to be excited about above everything else: Mondasian Cybermen. They are apparently one of star Peter Capaldi’s favorite villains, and they haven’t been a major part of the show in a long time. Therefore, it’s a great nod to the early days of the show to bring them back for this final stretch of the season, and some of the final episodes to feature him as The Doctor.

Rachel Talalay is back for the final episodes as the director, so be ready for some of her trademark visual effects, imagination, and some surprising twists. She also manages to get the best out of Capaldi, a man who brings both power and vulnerability to this role. He’s one of the best, and he will be very much missed as a result of that.

Now, let’s get to sharing a little more in the way of news regarding what is coming up.

Doctor Who season 10 episode 11 synopsis – “A huge spaceship trapped in the gravity well of a black hole, teeming with impossible lifeforms, harbours one of the Doctor’s most feared enemies… Mondasian Cybermen.”

The best thing about this episode is that you’re going to have a great opportunity to learn about this specific type of Cybermen and what makes this such a force to be reckoned with. Beyond that, another merit of the story is simply that you’re going to challenge The Doctor with a place he’s not as familiar with.

Alas, this is a fairly short synopsis, and it’s clear that the BBC doesn’t want to give too much away about what’s coming. That’s probably all the more important given that whatever happens in this episode of Doctor Who is probably going to carry over almost directly to the big finale, which will be the last you get until that Christmas Special / fond farewell.
