What Outlander season 3 videos do we want to see before premiere?
As of right now, much of what we’ve seen to date is fairly limited in terms of actual footage. There was a teaser released earlier in the spring before The White Princess, and if you missed that, we broke it down piece by piece over at the link here. Beyond that, there have been some assorted behind the scenes photos and videos to go along with a few official snapshots of some of the performers in character. Details are still scarce, but with the premiere three months away, more or less, there are still several different previews that Starz could choose to give us.
1. A teaser featuring South Africa footage – At this point, it’s well-documented that Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, and many other cast members are filming there. Also, book readers know of the voyage to Jamaica already. Without giving major plot points away, there’s no harm to release a little bit of video footage of that, even as a short ten-second teaser, before the premiere airs on Starz.
2. A new behind-the-scenes featurette – Provide us with something that highlights set life, costumes, locations, and some of what it’s like for the cast to work on this season. While it’s possible that Outlander debuts its full season 3 trailer at San Diego Comic-Con later this summer, this would be just as exciting a thing to check out and its equally likely they will present something like this and save the trailer for a linear launch on Starz itself.
3. Obviously, the trailer – Hopefully, it would run for a minute and a half and set up more of the story of the third season, whether it be Jamie’s time apart from Claire, their reunion (print shop teases!), and then also where the story could go from here. This is the thing that we’re the most confident will come, but it’s a matter of time and Starz determining when it is that they want to actually unleash the trailer for everyone to see.

Thumbs up to all the suggestions in the article & comment section.
Also, BTS videos with BTS crew– sets, costumes, writers, directors–are just as entertaining. They are an articulate and creative bunch!

I agree w/M’lady! BTS are the best, as are Bloopers. :) Sam and Cait are notoriously childlike in their humor and perhaps the “powers” don’t realize how their ‘humanness/silliness’ endears them to their fandom. MOST of us don’t care to intrude on personal boundaries, but Cait’s and Sam’s humble accessibility sets them so far above Hollywood snobbery/privileged mindset ~ is it any wonder Outlander has such an impressive world-wide fan base? We are all human and Cait and Sam don’t elevate themselves above any of us. Humility comes w/life experience and I’m most proud of these two.

I actually requested a behind the scenes look from Starz months ago after Poldark released one of Eleanor Tomlinson touring the sets. I love anything BTS!
