Grantchester season 3 episode 6 (finale) spoilers: Is Sidney losing faith?
Based on the details below, Sidney is going to find himself in a key crisis, one where he is seemingly at the center of two different extremes. On one side, he has to try and handle the role of the church in interfering with his personal life. Then, he also has to handle another big case involving an abduction. He really must handle this the right way, mostly because of the fact that if he lets his personal troubles get in the way of doing his job, he puts his entire future at risk.

Stupid ending to this season. Could Sydney be any more self-centered and insufferable. Poor Amanda! And, instead of challenging the church to alter their outdated point of view, he just simpers off into the sunset. He really is not a sympathetic character at all.
