Is Criminal Minds new tonight on CBS? Breaking down season 13 timeslot
Unfortunately, that electrifying episode is going to have to satisfy you for many more months, given that there is no new episode airing on CBS tonight. The show’s now done for season 12, which was an interesting transitional season for the show in so many ways when you think back and look at it. This was a season that had to deal with a good bit, whether it be losing Thomas Gibson to gaining Adam Rodriguez and Damon Gupton. It’s possible more change could be coming next, but there is no confirmation on that just yet. (Fingers crossed that things do stay the same, given that this will allow the show to focus in on the characters that the series do have.)
The big story at this hour when it comes to this show is the simple fact that Criminal Minds proper is going to be moving into a new timeslot on Wednesday nights. After many years at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, the show is shifting back to 10:00 and there are some questions worthy of pondering as a result of that. One of the biggest ones is really quite simple: Is this going to hurt the show?
The first thing to realize here is that CBS is not making this move thinking that they want to cancel or burn out Criminal Minds. It’s more of a hope that the show can maintain most of its season 12 average one hour later. If that happens, then all of a sudden this show will be delivering to the network some of the best timeslot ratings in years. They are experimenting somewhat in giving SEAL Team the timeslot starting at 9:00. If that show ends up sticking, then Criminal Minds could end up being the beneficiary of that in some form.
It’s far too early at this point to suggest that season 13 will be the last for the show. Personally, it feels like it would be fun to see the series proper make it as far as CSI did, so that’s the goal worth targeting for now.
Do you think that the new Criminal Minds timeslot is going to prove rather harmful in some way? Share now in the attached comments!

No matter, without Thomas Gibson the show was over since season 12. Now what happens will be a consequence. Switched hours? It would not surprise me, if it reduces the episodes and episode time. Well done to them. False and arrogant people. Broadcasters that do not respect the viewer do not deserve any credit.Watch NetFlix❗?
