Gotham season 3 episode 18 spoilers: What is the Court of Owls’ weapon?
We’ve certainly seen these sort of psychopaths before: The sort who think that something is “sick,” and the only way to really repair it is by watching it crumble and start anew. The problem that they have as an evil organization is that their thinking is so binary. Who is to say that the rebuilt version will be better? The idea that they are missing here is the one that there are good people in Gotham now. There are people who do want to make the city better, and are going to fight tooth and nail to ensure that it is so. Forgetting this fact ends up hurting the entire city in its recovery.
Ultimately, though, we’re probably thinking a little too much about the issue in general, given that the Court of Owls are ultimately evil and therefore don’t think all that much in terms of doing what is right or just. They never really have.
Gotham season 3 episode 18 synopsis – “Gordon discovers the weapon the Court of Owls will use to destroy Gotham, which leads him on a dangerous path as he tracks it down. Meanwhile, Kathryn (guest star Leslie Hendrix) and Temple Shaman (guest star Raymond J. Barry) reveal their next move to Bruce, and Ivy comes to Selina’s aid.”
We will say that one of the things that is surprising us over the course of the final stretch this season is just how involved we’re seeing the character of Ivy being in everything that is going down. This is not something that we were all that confident we would see going into this, especially in terms of interactions with Selina and Oswald.
