Gotham season 3 spoilers: When will Gordon learn Court of Owls’ plan?

Court of Owls

At this particular moment, the Court of Owls are the Big Bads on Gotham season 3, and one of their major objectives at present appears to be doing whatever they can to destroy the city. Basically, the group seems to be of the psychotic persuasion at present that in order to make something better, first and foremost it has to burn. A little odd, no? Certainly, but it’s in time with the tone of this show and what we’ve come to expect from it.

Come the May 15 episode entitled “Heroes Rise: Light the Wick,” one of the things we can go ahead and tell you is that you’re going to have an opportunity to see Gordon learn a thing or two about the weapon that the Court is going to use in order to destroy the city. This is something that is teased in the video below from the episode airing tomorrow night. Apparently, the majority of terrible things in the city all seem to connect back to this in some way, so this is something that you should consider and luck at further.

Meanwhile, this episode is also going to feature the continued “training efforts” of Temple Shaman, a man who is going to be closely tied to the Bruce Wayne story in the second half of this season. He’s another piece of the connective tissue that is eventually going to lead to the arrival of Ra’s al Ghul, the villain who we’ll see a little bit of at the end of this season … and potentially more moving forward into season 4.

One final thing that we’ll say here is that Ivy and Selina will have a story together in this episode. Given that they were once so close, we’re sure understandably that there are people out there who want to see some more collaborations between the two of them. Consider this one of the first moves in getting us closer to that happening more. We do know, after all, that there is a good relationship between the two villains in the comics.
