Dancing with the Stars: Who was eliminated — Heather Morris or Nancy Kerrigan?

Who was eliminated on Dancing with the Stars tonight? Let’s just say that this proved to be a little bit more complicated of a results show than most.

For the first time all season, we went into a results show not feeling altogether certain as to who was going to be leaving the competition. While we had some confidence that the majority of the female dancers were safe, we weren’t ruling out a possible Heather Morris shock boot since some of her scores were a little bit lower than expected last night.

For us, the elimination tonight really came down to three guys in Bonner Bolton, David Ross, and Nick Viall. Their scores have been reasonably close to each other, and we could feasibly foresee a situation where they are all sent home in consecutive weeks given that they all have reasonably similar talent levels and have performed fairly close to one another most of the season. Personally, we thought that Bonner would probably be the one going, but that’s only because he was the least-popular of the three going into the season. We do still concede that he has a good many viewers from the south who were probably cheering him on most of the season.

Well … get ready for a shock. The guys are all safe! All of our speculation was thrown out the window when we learned that Heather, Nancy Kerrigan, Simone Biles, and Normani Kordei were all in danger of leaving, and the worst dancer was for sure not going to be leaving on the night.

The first woman declared safe among the remaining performers was Simone and Sasha Farber. Meanwhile, Normani and Val Chmerkovskiy were also declared okay. This meant that we were potentially down to lose Heather on the same night that she scored a perfect 40 across the board.

Result – In the end, the couple eliminated from the show was Heather and Maks!! Quite possibly one of the most shocking eliminations in the history of the show. There were audible BOOS in the ballroom after this, and understandably so. However, this is what happened following the scores last week. We do have to give Heather credit for handling the exit with class. This had to be tough, but we’re going to dive into how this happened more soon.
