The Voice spoilers: What Hunter Plake, Chris Blue, Lilli Passero will sing
As for what everyone is going to be performing on the night, we do have some spoilers for you below! Check out tonight how everyone fares doing some of these tunes.
Lilli Passero, “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” – Interesting song choice given that Shania Twain is the in-house mentor. A risky song choice given that this song easily comes across as karaoke.
Jesse Larson, “Make You Feel My Love” – Wonderful song, and if done right a slam-dunk on iTunes. Consider him safe this week.
Mark Isaiah, “One Dance” – There are times in which this song can get off-pitch, so if Mark can avoid some of those hurdles, we have a good feeling that he will be able to cruise into next week.
Vanessa Ferguson, “A Song for You” – A lot of people love this Leon Russell song choice. We’re just not one of them.
Stephanie Rice, “White Flag” – You gotta love Dido, right? Well, you don’t have to, but we do think that this is a great song for her.
Chris Blue, “Love and Happiness” – If there is any justice in the world, this will be a song that gets Chris into the next round.
Aliyah Moulden, “(Love is Like a) Heatwave” – The song choice’s a little dated, and given that Blake’s other artists are doing country, they have an edge.
TSoul, “Always on My Mind” – Powerful song, and a surprising one given his typical genre. Nonetheless we love the choice.
Lauren Duski, “Lord I Hope This Day is Good” – Probably a good song for her, but there’s always a part of us that gets cynical at this point about trying to cater to the religious block since it’s such a tired-and-true thing that can feel forced.
Hunter Plake, “Somebody That I Used to Know” – Great song. It was overexposed for a while, but it’s been enough time for it to feel fresh again.
Brennley Brown, “Long Long Time” – This is a high-risk, high-reward choice. This could work really well for her, or, it could completely crash and burn.
Troy Ramey, “Free Fallin” – Nothing altogether exciting here, unfortunately. It’s a good song for a road trip, but not for a singing show.
