Real Housewives of Atlanta preview: Kandi Burruss’ restaurant opening

Kandi Burruss' restaurant

Kandi Burruss’ restaurant Old Lady Gang is something that’s been in the works on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and beyond for a rather long time now, and it looks finally like we’re inching closer to that dream becoming a reality. This restaurant will be a focal point of Sunday night’s new episode, but in true Real Housewives fashion, the opening party is not going to go according to plan.

For one, planning it becomes quite an arduous process since there are so many problems that come up along the way. Then, you’ve got the issue of launching the actual event, and then at the end of that, having a surprise guest turn up. While Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams seem to be no-shows for the event, you are going to be seeing someone who has very close romantic ties to a certain Apollo Nida. If that doesn’t cause chaos, what will? She had to know that turning up at this party was going to generate some sort of strong reaction.

Now, let us get to sharing the actual synopsis for the episode, since there are a few other things that are coming up for the other Housewives.

Synopsis – “Tensions run high as Kandi and Todd race to get the Old Lady Gang restaurant up and running in time for their “family and friends” preview. Cynthia and Peter’s divorce reaches the end of the road and Porsha hosts some Frick and Frack festivities to celebrate Phaedra’s birthday. As the ladies gather to celebrate at the Old Lady Gang preview event, an unexpected guest shows up, leading to new revelations about Phaedra and Apollo’s divorce.”

In the end, this episode will be like so many others but with some extra Frick and Frack thrown in there. You’ll get a little bit of humor mixed with some drama mixed with a little bit of personal devastation … there are, after all, occasions on this show where you do start to get a little bit depressed.

We’ll be back soon with some further reaction from this episode and additional previews for what’s coming up next. If you want to see more of what we’ve got on the show already, head over to the link here.

If you were Kandi, what would you do about someone crashing your party and conjuring up the name Apollo Nida. Is this the sort of drama that you would want associated with your event? Be sure to share your thoughts now in the comments! (Photo: Bravo.)
