The Originals season 4 episode 3 promo: Is Hope Mikaelson in danger?

Moving into The Originals season 4 episode 3, what it looks like we’re going to end up seeing is a little more information regarding the story of the season. Namely, we’re talking a little bit the arc of Hope Mikaelson. Klaus and Hayley’s daughter is a much more active part of the show than she once was, and in between the dreams and the drawings, it’s clear that we are going to see the ouroboros in some form or another for a while.

Aside from the mythology of that, there are also some key personal moments coming up on the show. How else would you describe a story that allows Klaus to spend some time with his daughter for the first time in years? We figure that it will be wonderful and emotional … but also potentially brief, given that this is not a universe that allots a whole lot of time for happiness. Instead, it far more often puts people in a position where they are surrounded by a near-constant stream of chaos.

The Originals season 4 episode 3 synopsis – “After five long years apart, Klaus attempts to reconnect with his daughter, Hope (Summer Fontana). Even as father and daughter bond, the rest of the family is still in turmoil. Elijah (Daniel Gillies) mediates a conflict between Hayley and Freya (Riley Voelkel) to determine the best way to protect the family. Meanwhile, in New Orleans, Vincent (Yusef Gatewood) tells Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) terrible secrets about his ex -wife, Eva Sinclair, even as they begin their search for a mysterious witch who plans to sacrifice a group of innocent children – including Hope Mikaelson.”

It’s a little hard to know what to make of some of the other stories that are coming at present, other than saying that the idea of Elijah as a mediator should be interesting. He’s got the temperament for it, but we know both Hayley and Freya at present to be rather fiery when it comes to their personalities.

Promo – The search for the missing children will pick up steam, and Klaus isn’t going to let anyone hurt his little girl. Angry Klaus is back!
