Being Mary Jane season 4 episode 11 return date: When’s it on BET?
In terms of specifics, what we can tell you is that the show’s coming back on Tuesday, July 18, and the good news that goes along with that is the simple fact that it’s not changing timeslots! Also, we know that there are a lot of people out there probably more available to watch TV during the summer when there are fewer things on in the way of competition (at least on broadcast).
This is the first season for the series to use this sort of split-scheduling model, which is a way for a network to get the most out of their show. At times, it can also be used as a way to keep costs from going higher as you get further and further into late in the series’ run. Take a look, for example, of shows like Mad Men or Breaking Bad have lengthier final seasons split into two parts. This is also something that many other cable shows like Pretty Little Liars and The Fosters do on a pretty regular basis.
As for what you’re going to see on Being Mary Jane season 4 episode 11, that’s the mystery for now. MJ did have some victories professionally in the midseason finale, but then also some personal setbacks. Much like virtually any other show out there, she’s not going to have everything going smoothly in her life at one times. She’s going to have roadblocks, and she’ll have to overcome them moving into the second half of the season.
In looking at the show’s future being these next ten episodes, we could be seeing some tough decisions coming BET’s way. There was more than a year between season 3 and season 4, and that layoff seems to have hurt the show pretty badly in the ratings. It’s down to date over 40% in both total viewers and the key 18-49 demographic since last season, though that’s only in the live+same day numbers. Maybe the show’s picking some of that up in DVR numbers, but live ones are the ones that matter the most.

YES … a mid-season break (if that’s what it’s called) is good!! Give us something to look forward to for the summer … and gives us juuust enough time to recap the season in between without starving true fans of the show..
Low ratings or not, this show is too well written, has far too much talent and chemistry amongst the cast and the continuity is too AWESOME not be picked back up for future seasons. BMJ is an AWESOME series with REAL real working-girl dilemmas (yeah, I said Real real) …. Please don’t take away my BMJ Nights!
My only complaint is that BET should be more genorous and seriously consider the show being more accessible on it’s apps like for ROKU, etc… If you’re constantly on the go (like myself) and don’t subscribe to cable (because it doesn’t make sense to pay an astronomical cable bill for something that you’re rarely at home to utilize) – then one would find BMJ being quite challenging to keep up with – and if you’re not a die-hard fan like I am, eventually out of sight becomes out of mind. In my case, I cling to this show – You have my loyalty and vote … but, I strongly believe that BET needs to open up the BMJ floodgates. Perhaps look into this as to why the rating have taken a dip … Make the Show (previous seasons and current episodes included) as accessible as The Game or Let’s Stay Together or the recently released “New Edition Story”. I unequivocally believe BET’s baby-rations of BMJ is certainly a key factor for it’s low rating scenario …. Easy Fix!!! (I think)
One Loyal BMJ’ner
