The Fosters season 4, episode 16 preview: Sharon and Will’s (possible) wedding

Fosters -

For those of you who love romance, there’s some good news when it comes to The Fosters — there’s a potential wedding on the next new episode of the show! Of course the operative word there is “potential.” That means that there are no guarantees that something is going to be coming down the road. We haven’t seen that much of Sharon and Will on the show in a good while, so it’s nice to have them back! The funny thing is that in some ways, Rob Morrow never quite left given that he is such a frequent director on the show.

The next new episode of the show is entitled “The Long Haul,” and we can offer up a little bit more in the way of news below.

Synopsis – “Sharon and Will (guest stars Annie Potts, “Chicago Med,” and Rob Morrow, “Billions”) return to the Adams Foster home with news that they are engaged. While the family happily prepares for the wedding ceremony, Stef learns that her mom is having second thoughts about getting married.

“In an effort to come clean with Jesus, Emma writes him a letter but learns he is hiding a secret of his own. Meanwhile, Jude is teased at school when Lena organizes an LGBTQ-friendly sex ed class for students.”

While everything about this wedding could be fun, the problem is that there are always questions. Is Will who Sharon thinks that he is? Is there a reason to be worried? In the end, there are so many different things that could go wrong that it’s hard to feel that much in the way of assurances that things are actually going to go right.

As for the rest of the episode, we mostly just think that it’s great to see that the show moving things right along in terms of giving you some further insight on the subject of Jude’s sex education. That’s a story that began tonight, and it is important that the writers continue to find ways to integrate that into everything that is going on within the world of the show.
