The Good Fight episode 2 preview: Maia pays her father a visit

The second episode of The Good Fight is going to be streaming on CBS All Access tomorrow, and it’s already fair to say that this is a big one. This is the first episode to be exclusively on the platform, so with that, this is the first time we’re really going to know for certain how popular the show is.

We could go on for another two or three paragraphs about how this is a real litmus test of whether or not someone is going to be willing to shell out big bucks for a streaming service, but the reality here is that we’ve already done that. For the sake of this article, we’re going to assume that you are still watching and focus a little bit more exclusively on some of the story that is coming up.

Synopsis – “Adrian and Barbara face a cruel realization about a high profile client. While second chair to Diane on a case, Lucca is in for more than she bargained for thanks to the state’s attorney’s office’s golden boy, Colin Morello (Justin Bartha). Maia visits her father in prison.”

The preview below amplifies the struggle that Maia is going to go through within the episode. You have to assume that it’s going to be quite a struggle for her to grapple with her father behind behind bars, and as a result of that, we’ll learn a little bit more about her.

Meanwhile, Diane is going to still be getting used to her new position, and Lucca will have a chance to square off against someone who thinks that they can flirt with her to get what they want. That doesn’t appear to actually be the case. All in all, this does seem like an eventful hour that should be worth the price of the service, provided of course you’re already a fan of the original and are looking for a way to see the story amped up to another level.
