‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2, episode 13 preview: ‘Land of the Lost,’ and Sara vs. Sara
The second season of “Legends of Tomorrow” is going back pretty far in time to the age of Camelot — and we absolutely expect that it will be entertaining. (Maybe it’s a little more complicated than it seems, but we are writing this article prior to the episode wrapping.)
The next new episode (airing on March 7) is entitled “Land of the Lost,” and that has us excited just on the basis of the title itself — after all, who else remembers that old show? This episode is going to mark an opportunity to send the team back all the way to the age of the dinosaurs, where Rip Hunter will have stranded thm as a result of their latest actions. While there, the entire team is going to be forced into some precarious positions — specifically, you’ll see Sara and Jax travel into Rip’s subconscious in an attempt to get the old version of them back. They understand how important Rip 1.0 is to their mission, but it’s probably fair to assume that Eobard Thawne didn’t just make him incredibly easy to unlock.
Synopsis – “After capturing Rip (Arthur Darvill), he forces the Waverider to crash, leaving the Legends stuck seventy million years in the past. Ray (Brandon Routh) leads Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Nate (Nick Zano) to recover a vital piece of the ship. In an effort to get the “good” Rip back, Rory (Dominic Purcell) suggests they enter Rip’s mind, but what Sara (Caity Lotz) and Jax (Franz Drameh) discover in his subconscious is not pleasant and they must fight evil versions of themselves. Meanwhile, Nate and Amaya continue to get closer, but it could cause serious ramifications.”
We will be the first to admit that we’re having a difficult time still full getting on board with the Nate / Amaya relationship. It’s not that we find either character annoying or frustrating in any way, but this show hasn’t done a great job of showcasing romance yet.
Promo – Unfortunately, there are no dinosaurs here, but you do get to see Sara fighting a different version of herself. Isn’t that fun?
