‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Raven Gates has a one-on-one date with Nick Viall

We’ve seen online that Raven Gates so far is one of the more popular contestants on Nick Viall’s season of “The Bachelor,” and there is nothing about this that comes as a surprise at all. She seems to have a good sense of humor, isn’t causing too much drama, and she’s from the south. Typically, this particular audience tends to love and root for contestants from this particular part of the United States, and depending on how Monday night’s new episode goes, she could be even more of a favorite. After all, she is in the process of getting her first one-on-one date of the season!

You’ve probably seen Raven do a little bit of roller-skating with Nick in various previews for the season so far, and the synopsis below gives you a little bit more of an indication over what’s coming for the two of them in his home state of Wisconsin.

“One reserved bachelorette captures the final one-on-one date of the week and is treated to a meeting with Nick’s sister, Bella, and watching her play soccer. Afterwards, the three go roller skating. Over a cozy dinner this lady shares her past heartbreak with Nick. Will it strengthen their connection?”

There is obviously something about this date that is meant to be about Nick’s small-town family roots. Notice that there is no mention of a helicopter or a fancy yacht anywhere in here. Also, no hot tub. We wonder just how romantic a part of this date is going to be given that you’re going to be around both Nick and his latest sister, two people who obviously know each other very well. Isn’t there going to be a certain degree of awkwardness that goes along with that? It’s going to be hard for the two of them to really be that romantic until they get around to the dinner at the end of the night, though who knows? Maybe that patience could payy of since they’ll get to know each other first.
