‘Supergirl’ and ‘The Flash’ musical crossover will officially have Music Meister as villain

Supergirl -Even though it’d been some time since anyone heard anything regarding the musical crossover featuring “Supergirl” and “The Flash,” rest assured that this is still happening. Not only that, but we’ve got further confirmation about the villain.

While at the TCA Winter Press Tour today, it was confirmed that Music Meister will in fact be the foe that the crews from the two different shows will be facing off against. He is a character, originally from “Batman: The Brave and the Bold,” who has the ability to use songs in order to control his victims. It didn’t take a Sherlock Holmes level of deductive reasoning to figure out that this was probably the direction in which these shows were going to go entering the big event. This was the only character who really made sense, given that thees are not characters who walk around singing of their own accord, and there had to be some sort of odd convention to get them to do so.

The larger mystery that remains is who will end up casting the character. Given that Neil Patrick Harris voiced the Music Meister character within “The Brave and the Bold,” we have to think that someone is, at the very least, going to put in a call to him to see if he is interested. Harris was asked about it recently, though, and he said effectively that he hadn’t really heard much about it.

Given that this crossover is still a little ways off, it’s possible that some more details about it will be released in the weeks to come. For now, there are many other stories to get to on both shows, which will be returning a little later this month.

Are you still excited about this idea, even if it is far out there for even these shows? Share in the comments, and head over here if you hadn’t caught the big news yet about the big renewals coming for both of these shows. (Photo: The CW.)
