‘Girl Meets World’ canceled by Disney Channel after three seasons
Unfortunately, the news that we’ve got for you now is not good news. As a matter of fact, it’s the opposite of it. In a new series of posts tonight on Twitter, the show’s writers (seemingly led by creator Michael Jacobs) made it clear that the show is officially over:
“It is with incredible pride in our work and complete sadness that things end, that I report to this wonderful audience that our show is over. I just officially got the call, and would like to thank this audience for its incredible love and loyalty. Please watch our January episodes. We leave you with three incredible souvenirs of a show we couldn’t be more proud of. As I look back I can tell you with absolute certainty – We gave you our best.”
We know that this news shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone, given that there have been many claims and suggestions out there that the show would be ending, despite it having such a buzzworthy launch and a ton of attention on social media. It’s hard to speculate on the reasons why, but it is very disappointing to see given that there weren’t too many other shows out there like this one.
For those wondering, we are going to do an article regarding potential season 4 destinations soon, but we will preface it with saying that it doesn’t look altogether likely right now that it will be going to another home.

I can’t stand Girl In The Middle. I hope it is gone or soon will be gone.

It was stupid. Cory never grew up and the actor who played the daughter never shut up. The Maya show never caught on and that’s what they made it.
