‘Code Black’ season 2, episode 12 preview: When will Rob Lowe, cast return?
Tonight, CBS is doing a love thing and is giving you a new episode of “Code Black” at a time when there are not a whole lot of other shows on the air. We’re grateful for that, even at the same time it is code somewhat for them wanting to move along from this show to everything else that is on their schedule.
So when are you going to see the series return to the network with new episodes? According to a new press release, the next installment featuring Rob Lowe and company is “One in a Million” airing on Wednesday, January 4. Be grateful that the show’s really not forcing you to sit through a particularly long hiatus at all — this is just one week, and after that the show is back in action once more following the holidays.
Synopsis – “Leanne defies Campbell’s order and uses the hospital helicopter to reunite a family for the last time. Also, Willis and Noa use a cell phone app to communicate with a young girl with autism.”
While we don’t have a promo to supplement this at the moment, the idea of the episode seems sound and compelling enough. This is a show that does have strong characters and performances, but where it really makes a name for itself more so than anything else is with some of the emotional moments that it creates between the people practicing and some of the patients that they help to care for. We hope that this is something that is going to continue to be an integral part of the remaining episodes, and that the show can do something to really generate buzz. While we do find it enjoyable, at the same exact time this is not necessarily a show we’re confident about in terms of it getting a renewal.

I’m digging this show… a little more every time. Rob does a great job with this character. Nice to see him doing this instead of comedy shows.. if only for a while.
