‘Empire’ season 3, episode 10 preview: Return date for Taraji P. Henson – Terrence Howard series

We hope that these past nine episodes of “Empire” were enough to get you excited about anything and everything that we got a chance to see over the course of the entire season. After all, you’re going to have quite a lengthy break coming in between now and when the show comes back.

The return date for the time being seems to be Wednesday, March 22, but we should make it very clear that this is very much subject to change. There is still plenty of time for Fox to change things up, but this sort of stuff does tend to be par for the course more often than not with this show. During that hiatus, Fox can really push the new series “Star,” which has had a rather enormous promotional campaign over the course of the past several weeks. Heck, it’s even got a little bit of ad time in the form of a scene during the new episode of the show that is airing on Wednesday night.

We do imagine that over the course of the next few months, there will be a little more information on the show handed down — but given the long hiatus, it wouldn’t surprise us at all if the show has a very different look and feel than what it did tonight. After all, that is the beauty of a show like this: There is so much flexibility to veer in different directions based on what is happening on the show and what the producers want to do. There’s a reasonably good chance that some guest stars we saw during the first half of the season that we won’t be seeing at all as we move forward to March.

More than anything else, let’s just hope that the drama is juicy for a little while moving forward.
