‘The Fosters’ season 4, episode 11 spoilers: First look at winter premiere ‘Insult to Injury’

Fosters -

After a lengthy hiatus, we now know for certain when “The Fosters” season 4 is returning to the air: Tuesday, January 31. Not only that, but we’ve got a little bit more into just what to expect.

This episode, written by creators Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige is entitled “Insult to Injury,” and that makes a little bit of sense precisely when you consider that the sort of injuries that some of the show’s characters are dealing with at the moment. Remember what happened to Jesus at the hands of Nick, or the potential harm that could come Callie’s way given what we saw transpire with her getting in the wrong car in the summer finale.

Want further news? Then take a look at the just-released synopsis, which gives you at least a sense of what the stakes are going to be for these characters moving into the near future.

“In the aftermath of Jesus’ fight with Nick over Mariana, Jesus is knocked out. On the way to the hospital, things take a turn for the worse, leaving him fighting for his life. Meanwhile, Callie finds herself in a dangerous situation after taking a ride with Troy and Mariana is guilt-ridden over the fact that her actions led to Jesus’ current condition.”

We certainly do hope that this particular episode offers up some opportunities to know Jesus’ fate in the long-term; for now, we’re going to hope that he turns out okay given that this is the second hiatus in the past couple of years with this show where we’ve left worried about his fate. However, he’s not the only one; Paige told us earlier in the year following the winter finale that there was every reason in the world to also be worried about Callie given that she may be in the car with a killer.

Given that this particular episode of “The Fosters” is still more than a month away, there’ll be some further news released about it before it airs. Stay tuned, and be sure to head over here to see some of our other recent news on “The Fosters”! (Photo: Freeform.)
