‘Big Brother OTT’ spoilers: Who gave the best speech?

Over the Top -

Tonight, “Big Brother: Over the Top” gave the final three houseguests a chance to do something that they’ve effectively been getting opportunities to do most of the past few days: Issue a plea to America as to what exactly they did in order to deserve the grand prize at the end of the game.

How did the three do? We’ve gotten our quick take on all of the below — in summation, though, we don’t think any of them gave us any insight that we weren’t aware of beforehand.

Jason – We do think that this further cemented that he has the best resume in terms of the moves that he made, and he detailed many of them while also going on about the passion that he had for this game. This was in part an emotional plea that he is just like some of the feeders watching at home. He accented his strengths in his game and avoided many of his weaknesses. You could tell that he prepared for this well.

Do we think there are still reasons to vote against him? Sure. What Jason could actually benefit from is a jury or viewer questionnaire to explain some of his behavior, which is the biggest strike many people have against him right now in the game.

Kryssie – We do actually think that this was a better speech than we thought that this was going to be going in. For the most part, she explained her game, tried to claim specific moves, and shared her side of her game. We do still think that Kryssie is incredibly delusional about some of what she did in the game, but at the same time, it’s hard to imagine her having further perspective when America never really punished her in the game.

Morgan – This was both the bet and worst of Morgan. She reminded us in here through the way she spoke that she was probably the nicest person, at least in the game, of the final three and that playing with her sister was at times hard. Yet, at the same time she probably did cement it further in the minds of the opposition that she relied often on other people that make moves. Here’s the irony: When people don’t own their games, we flame them for it. Then, when someone like Morgan does own her game, we flame them for it. We found her honesty refreshing, even if her speech wasn’t particularly strong. If you appreciate her perspective, we definitely still understand voting for her.
