‘Quantico’ season 2, episode 9 preview: Return date for Priyanka Chopra series

Tonight, “Quantico” brought us an episode that featured Alex doing what she could on the inside of the hostage crisis, really serving as the last hope to stop a mass genocide while not having a lot of time in order to make her move. It was an exciting, fast-paced way to end the first part of the season, but in true show fashion, we ended things off with a rather major cliffhanger.

So when are we going to see Priyanka Chopra and the rest of the cast back on ABC with new episodes? Going out of what we saw tonight, that was the biggest question given that this is something that ABC wasn’t necessarily so keen to give up a lot of details on in advance. Part of the reason for that may just have been because there is a rather long wait between now and when the show is coming back on the air.

Update: Here is what’s going to be different about the show right away: It’ll be airing on a new night! Starting on Monday, January 23, the series will be replacing “Conviction” in its 10:00 p.m. timeslot, one that it may be able to get some traction in. From here, it’ll get a chance to deal with some of the aftermath of what we saw tonight. In one timeline, it certainly looked as though Alex and Ryan were going to get engaged. Unfortunately, in the other one it appeared more as if the two parties were on opposite sides of a terrorist attack as he was revealed to be underneath one of the masks.

The promo below does offer up a little bit of insight and clues, but at the same exact time, it exists mostly to tell you that the show is shifting to a different part of the week.
