‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6 spoilers: Regina, the Evil Queen square off

After a week off of the air due mostly to the American Music Awards, “Once Upon a Time” is going to be coming up with a new episode this weekend. Over the course of “Changelings,” you are going to see an hour of programming that in particular will be huge for the characters of Belle and Rumpelstiltskin … but that doesn’t necessarily mean that you should forget about Regina and everything that she is going through!

After all, there’s just one thing you gotta remember about Lana Parrilla’s character here, and that’s her attempts to constantly show her better nature against her other character in the Evil Queen. The script tease below comes courtesy of executive producer Adam Horowitz’s official Twitter account, and what this shows to us more than anything else is that Regina may be surprising her second self courtesy of a sacrifice that she is willing to make.

How long can this Evil Queen stick around? That’s one of the things that we are the most curious about as we move further into this season, mostly because of the fact that most Big Bad characters do not last for an extremely long period of time. Not only that, but we have to assume that there are other villains that the show would be interested in bringing into the fold in due time. There’s no word just yet on who some of these people could be, but we’ve already reported that the show could be venturing once more into some uncharted territory following the first part of the season.

If she does leave, let’s just hope that the Queen, to use an old adage, goes big before she goes home.
