Is ‘Designated Survivor’ episode 8 new tonight on ABC?
“Designated Survivor” is a show that loves to bring you drama; unfortunately, ABC isn’t exactly going to be handing down much in the way of a new installment tonight.
What’s the reason for that? It’s really just as simple as this being the night before Thanksgiving, and there being utterly no incentive whatsoever for the network to put on a new episode of something when they know very well that there’s going to be a significantly smaller pool of potential viewers out there than usual in order to watch it. You’re going to be waiting until you get around to December 30 see what’s next, and that is when you are going to see an all-important installment entitled “The Results.”
Here, what we’ve got for you are some of the first details from “The Blueprint,” another installment that is airing on December 7 that is going to feature the latest crisis for Kiefer Sutherland’s character of President Kirkman. Let’s just say that this one could get rather hairy in a short period of time, mostly because of the sole fact that there is a major issue about classified documents hitting the internet. Given that we’re in the age of these sort of leaks happening almost all of the time, we cannot be altogether shocked that the show is tackling this particular issue.
Want to know more? Then take a look at the episode’s official synopsis:
“When classified government documents are leaked online, President Kirkman searches for the party responsible only to find that they have taken refuge inside a foreign embassy and are behind even his reach. Meanwhile, Agent Hannah Wells races furiously to gather evidence of MacLeish’s involvement in the conspiracy before he can be confirmed as the country’s next Vice President.”
