‘Empire’ season 3 spoilers: How is more trouble coming Lucious Lyon’s way?

When your name is Lucious Lyon of “Empire” fame, odds are that you know a thing or two about being challenged, and having some terrible things happening to you. There are moments where it’s easy to have a little bit of sympathy for the guy (just take a look at his upbringing), but there are also some other moments where he brings a lot of it on himself.

For the time being, we cannot tell you one way or another what we’re going to see for the show’s December 14 fall finale entitled “A Furnace for Your Foe.” However, we can at least say that this installment is going to offer up quite the opportunity to see Lucious in a panic, as the FBI is going to freeze all of his assets and force him in a situation where he has to find a way to make do until their investigation concludes one way or the other.

As for what else you can expect to see over the course of this installment, let’s just say that Angelo’s Mayor campaign is in full swing, and Cookie’s going to do whatever she can in order to further help him. This is yet another suggestion that the “end” of their relationship this past week is not necessarily going to be the end for the two of them.

One other thing that is rather interesting about this episode right now is that Kaitlin Doubleday is listed as one of the guest stars in the episode, which means that we could be seeing Rhonda again! Now, we just have to wonder precisely how she will be showing up given how when we last saw her, she was involved in one of the crazier scenes we’ve seen on “Empire” over the years.
