‘Arrow’ season 5 video: Crossover tease includes Deathstroke, the Dominators

Coming at the end of this month, we’re getting arguably the most epic crossover ever executed on television. After all, how else do you explain a story that is stretching across four different hours of television, and tells a story that is around one of the biggest threats that we’ve seen on “Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl,” or “Legends of Tomorrow” to date?

Well, the promo below offers up your first look at the Dominators, the alien race who is coming to utilize the powers of many heroes and (potentially) villains for their own purpose. It’s a little different than just taking on one single opponent; here, there are many, and it’ll require a huge unified force of people with powers. Sound exciting?

Admittedly, the one thing we’re worried about is that it’s hard to get emotionally invested in a villain without charisma or personality, and we don’t know if there is really any here at all. On the surface, these aliens just appear to be just that. We don’t know a whole lot else about them.

With that being said, there are some particularly funny moments in this preview, and to go along with that, we’ve also got a cameo appearance in here from Deathstroke. We unfortunately haven’t heard anything about Manu Bennett turning up on the show, and we do wonder as a result of that if Deathstroke is either going to keep his mask on for the entirety of his time on the show, or if Flashpoint maybe changed the identity of the person under the mask. Maybe we’ll get an answer in here during the “Arrow” 100th episode, which is a part of this crossover.
