Is ‘Ink Master’ season 8 new tonight on Spike? Prepare for something different…
Tonight, the majority of viewers on television are going to be glued to election results, and we understand that! It’s one of the biggest nights in the recent history of the country, and while there are understandably many people tired of it (rest assured, we’re right there with you), it’ll be over within the next 24 hours.
Unfortunately, there aren’t too many escapes in terms of new programming tonight, unless you want to watch some other coverage of the election. Luckily, Spike is giving you at least something tonight when it comes new programming in the form of “Ink Master,” but it’s a little different than your standard episode.
Based on many of the previews that are out there for this episode, you’re not going to be getting your standard hour of television in terms of Flash Challenges, eliminations, skull picks, and all of that. It seems like they are smartly saving that for a week when viewers will be less distracted. However, Spike is airing a special episode tonight featuring the remaining artists, as Dave Navarro sits down with many of them plus the judges to get more insight on what makes them tick and what they do when it comes to tattoo preparation. You can watch a preview for that below via the network’s official Twitter page.
For those of you who are diehard fans, one of the cool things about this seems to be more of a personal, uninhibited look at some of the artists without as much aggressive editing. It’s also a way to catch up on some events if you’ve missed an episode or two. Our advice to you is simply this, if you’re considering checking this out: At least put it on your DVR, and once you get through monitoring all of the election results, you can check it out. Maybe it’ll be a nice way to cool off before heading to bed.
