CMA Awards 2016: Live stream the red-carpet pre-show
At the moment, we do wonder if someone over at the CMA Awards is staunchly regretting their decision to hold their annual broadcast on November 2. Basically, the awards-show is being pitted up directly against the monster avalanche that is the World Series. Maybe they though the odds were so low of a game 7 that they wouldn’t need to worry … but here we are. Tonight, the two go head-to-head, and it doesn’t feel all that difficult to predict who the winner is going to be.
Maybe those of you who are watching the baseball game live do want to get into the CMA spirit a little bit before the game begins, and we do have a gift for you if that is the case: The new live stream below! This is of the red carpet, and it comes via the Tennessean – we’re not going to pretend to be an expert in country music, but these are some people who are.
What we do know is that the show tonight’s really plotting to bust out a wide array of performers. Beyonce was announced recently as a surprise addition, and while we have no clue how that’ll work, it’ll probably be rather interesting. She also joins some other names including Alabama, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Carrie Underwood, Christ Stapleton, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, George Strait, Jennifer Nettles, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert, Randy Travis, Reba Mcentire, Thomas Rhett, Tim McGraw, and Vince Gill. Note that this is just a small sample. (Beyonce’s not the only non-country act performing; Pentatonix will also be there.)
Above all else, here’s our real hope for tonight’s broadcast: Lots of fun, great performances, and hopefully very little politics. We’re over all of that at this point beyond Election Day.
Be warned: There are no official live streams other than those authorized through ABC. Many other live streams that are out there are unofficial, and we don’t recommend them. (Photo: CMA Awards.)
