TV Quick Hits: ‘Shameless’ season 7 gets Noel Fisher back; ‘Sleepy Hollow’ photo; ‘America’s Next Top Model’ teaser

For the second straight day, we’re starting off our TV Quick Hits with a little bit of news when it comes to “Shameless.” Given the nature of this said news (it’s exciting!), we do definitely think that it makes a good bit of sense.

According to a report from TV Guide, Noel Fisher is going to be returning as Mickey (thankfully) starting with the ninth episode of the season. There’s no confirmation he’ll be around for long, but this does offer up fans of him and Ian to start to get something a little bit closer to the closure that they’ve been looking for and craving. As for how the show plans to handle the fact that Mickey was in prison the last time we saw him, that’s the real question — and it’s definitely something we’d like to get something closer to a firm answer to.

“America’s Next Top Model” teaser – The series is coming back on December 12 with a new host in Rita Ora, and also a new network in VH1. The teaser HERE gives you a small sense of what is (hopefully) going to be an interesting re-brand for the franchise. Tyra Banks is still involved after hosting the show from the beginning, but this time only as an executive producer.

“Sleepy Hollow” preview – The fourth season of the show will be premiering on Fox at midseason, and the photo below (via TVLine) is one of your first looks at an interesting new component to this story in Diana. Played by “True Blood” alum Janina Gavankar, Diana is someone Ichabod (Tom Mison) will partner with as he continues to get good work done to stop supernatural forces. This time around, though, he’s working out of Washington DC.

While nobody can replace Nicole Beharie’s Abbie, hopefully Gavankar will be able to bring something new and interesting to the table.
