‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13 spoilers: ‘The Last Ship’ actress to appear
While the slice of “Grey’s Anatomy” news we have today may not be huge when it comes to information, we think the announcement in itself is worthy of some excitement: We’re going to see Bridget Reagan in an upcoming episode!
In a post on her Instagram page, the actress — best known for “The Last Ship,” “White Collar,” and other projects — made it clear that she will be appearing on an upcoming episode entitled “The Room Where It Happens.” Other than the title, what’s notable about this episode is that it is being directed by Debbie Allen, one of the show’s most-noteworthy directors who also now serves as an executive producer. She also plays Catherine Avery on the series itself, proving that she can do just about everything.
We don’t see this role being much of an indictment on her future for “The Last Ship,” given that it seems easy that she could theoretically juggle both roles at the same time. The TNT drama (which, ironically, stars former “Grey’s Anatomy” cast member Eric Dane) was renewed earlier this summer for two more seasons, so there’s definitely plenty more story to tell there.
Expect Regan’s episode to air at some point in the weeks / months ahead; the show is typically several episodes ahead in production of where they are airing at present. New episodes will continue Thursday nights on ABC.
