‘Code Black’ season 2, episode 2 preview: What lies ahead for Rob Lowe, cast?

Code Black -

The season 2 premiere of “Code Black” aired last night on CBS, and we suppose one of the biggest things of note about it was seeing the debut of Rob Lowe as Willis, a man bring a good degree of medical knowledge and medical training to the hospital. Hopefully, you enjoyed what he brought to the table, given that he is going to be around for the entirety of the story to come — or at least this season.

What we’ve got for you below are some of the first details from the next new installment, which carries with it the title of “Life and Limb” and will air on Wednesday night. Based on the synopsis below, there are going to be a wide array of different events that you’re going to have a chance to see over the course of the hour:

“Willis must help a promising young soccer player make a life-altering decision after he’s seriously injured when a bus carrying his entire team crashes, and another patient’s hesitation to share that she’s transgender makes it difficult for the doctors to diagnose her severe abdominal pain, on CODE BLACK, Wednesday, Oct. 5 (10:00-11:00PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Transgender actress Alexandra Grey guest stars as Beth, a patient who comes in with severe abdominal pain; Camryn Manheim guest stars as Alice, the distraught wife of a truck driver who is injured in an accident; and Eric Roberts guest stars as Vince, Mario’s opportunistic father.”

One of the things that is certainly impressive about this story right now is simply the sheer amount of notable guest stars appearing; these are certianly people that we know, and their presence plus all of the extras definitely makes for a more authentic experience.
