‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6 spoilers: Charming’s mother and The Dragon to return

With the premiere of “Once Upon a Time” season 6 coming up on Sunday night, what better way to celebrate than checking out some news about returning characters?

Let’s start first with the news via TVLine that Gabrielle Rose is poised to make another appearance as Charming’s mother Ruth. She will appear at the very least in flashbacks on the upcoming seventh episode of the season, which is where you potentially could learn a few things regarding his character’s past. There may be a few secrets that we never saw coming in advance, and we certainly know that we’re down for a surprise or two — provided that it’s a great one.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly also claims that Tzi Ma (“Hell on Wheels”) will also be stopping by for another appearance as the oh-so-mysterious Dragon, which is mostly exciting to us in that this is a role shrouded in all sorts of questions. Plus, we contend that Tzi Ma is one of the best characters actors out there and we’d watch him in almost any role that he does.

With the show coming back soon to television, there are of course still many questions — with at the top of the list being whether or not we’re going to have a chance to see Emma Swan really be a savior all over again, this time to the people within the Land of Untold Stories. We imagine that the remainder of the season will be exciting in one way or another, and we’re very much interested in seeing how it all plays out.
