‘Lucifer’ season 2 video: Tom Ellis, cast on stories ahead

After a great deal of waiting, “Lucifer” season 2 will be premiering on Fox Monday night, and just in case you’re looking for a last-minute preview, we’ve got that for you now!

At the bottom of the article, the video features Tom Ellis, Lauren German, and many other cast members discussing where we left off, and also where we could be going moving forward as there will be some more humor, some more drama, and of course a little bit of fun mixed in here, as well. This show wouldn’t quite be the same unless it managed to give us a wonderful mixture of all of these things at the same time.

For a little more specifically about the premiere, take a look at the attached synopsis:

“Lucifer is distracted by his mother’s escape from hell, as he and Chloe investigate the murder of a stand-in actress. Meanwhile, Chloe’s faith in Lucifer is tested by the new medical examiner, Ella. Also, Amenadiel hopes to rein in Lucifer’s wild side, as they both deal with the absence of Maze.”

While we would be excited to see the relationship between Lucifer and his mother regardless of what it was, we do think the fact that she is played by Tricia Helfer only adds to the amazingness of it all. She will bring a level of mystique and power to the role, and should challenge her son and the rest of the cast at almost every opportunity she possibly can.
