‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: James and Nicole finally talk — briefly

The relationship between James and Nicole over the weeks has shown itself to be one of the most interesting ones in the “Big Brother” house. At one point in the game, we did think there was enough evidence to give some credence to the crazy rumors that were out there about the two parties having a secret final-two deal that existing before the game. After all, James was inexplicably loyal at times to Nicole.

Now that we’ve said that, the past two days have definitely made it appear that if there ever was a deal, it doesn’t quite matter anymore. James and Nicole have rarely spoken to one another separate from Paul, and when they did earlier today, it was in passing. They both mentioned how cool it would be to be in the final two, but there was no hard campaigning.

This all goes in complete opposition to Paul, a guy who has worked ridiculously hard as of late in order to ensure that he cas both of these two on his side in the event he loses the final part of the last Head of Household Competition. We got the sense from last night’s show that James for whatever reason does want to take Paul all the way to the end, and talking to Nicole is akin to him covering all of his bases.

Meanwhile, for Nicole it’s a little murkier. We think that she would probably take James just because she realizes that Paul is a gamer, but if he is really able to stress to her that James has a great social social game and could win, couldn’t anything happen?
