‘American Horror Story’ season 6 spoilers: ‘Glee’ alum Jacob Artist snags mystery role

AHS -

We now know with certainty the latest “American Horror Story” season 6 casting, and it really should not surprise anyone as this point that it is shrouded in some serious mystery.

In a new post on Instagram (see below), Jacob Artist confirmed he will be a part of the new season in some form; however, it remains unclear just what sort of role he will play. While co-creator Ryan Murphy has an affinity for using similar actors across multiple shows, he has been a little more cagey to date when it comes to bringing people from “Glee” specifically onto “Horror Story” for an extended period of time. Darren Criss is one of the more noteworthy people to make the jump, though he has used Lea Michele on both “Glee” and then also “Scream Queens.”

Artist played Jake through a few years of the show, and what is especially interesting to us is the star power that has come out of some of the latest arrivals on the series. Grant Gustin (Sebastian) is now The Flash, while Melissa Benoist (Marley) is now Supergirl. Maybe this will be the beginning of some greater things for Artist?

Ultimately, the most frustrating part of everything with this show is how we’re only 36 hours away from the premiere, and yet we still no nothing about the theme, the entire cast, or what to expect. The only thing we can confirm that is recent news is that Cuba Gooding Jr. is going to be a part of the new batch of episodes.
